Kerry and Mark run a very successful and busy acupuncture studio from their home - and needed more space to look after all their clients. The SAM10 was the perfect solution, despite only having access to a small front yard we managed to fit it in nicely!
From the initial measure through to final key handover we enjoyed this build very much. Kerry and Mark were easy to deal with, and did their very best to help wherever possible, but always managed to juggle business and building activities.
Post Hole Digging / Electrical / Adjustable Stumps / Steel Base
As Kerry and Mark wanted to use their cabin as an acupuncture treatment room the provision of power points and lighting was essential.
On the very first day of the build the electrician was on site, and prepared al leads - all we had to do is feed the leads through the log centres via holes we drilled, ready for the sparky to come back after hooking it all up.
As always any electrical works must be carried out by a licensed electrician, for obvious reasons. We can help with drilling additional wiring holes through the centre of the logs, but all other electrical work we always leave up the the professionals!

From the very first day Kerry and Mark contacted us, the issue of not having a lot of space available was discussed. The only way to ascertain if a project like building a garden shed log cabin is feasible or not is to meet on site and go through all details.
One of the images above shows logs simply being placed on the lawn, to gain an accurate impression of the space needed.
Yes, not much room to play with, but it worked out in the end!
Local building regulations very from state to state, but in general it is important to stay away between 1 and 1.5m from the closest fence line.
Roofing and Floor Coverings:
We sometimes get asked to provide additional services such as adding a deck out the front, installing floor coverings and the like - we will try our best to help, but need to be mindful of our busy log cabin building schedule so might not be able to help - but we will try!
For Kerrie and Mark we squeezed in laying vinyl plank flooring (see image bottom right).
Included in the installation price we quote is of course the roofing. Obviously, roofing installations need to be watertight, but roofing installation methods and finishes do vary from standard class 1A residential buildings.

Sitting Pretty - the new Acupuncture Room is ready!
Kerry was determined to make her new Acupuncture room look modern and fresh. For this she decided to paint the outer in a soft yellow, and white for the inside.
Painting is not for everyone, it's time consuming so often it's hard to fit it into our busy schedules - but it MUST be done as soon as possible after completion of the cabin. This is the only way to guarantee the longevity of your brand new cabin, so that you will get many years of enjoyment out of it.
Kerry and Mark's paint job is sensational!
